CSEA Region 5's Flood Relief efforts
got a tremendous boost recently when
AFSCME President Gerald McEntee
(right) presented Region 5 President
Jim Moore (center) and CSEA President
Danny Donohue (left) with a check for
$50,000 towards the union's Flood
Relief fund at our Annual Delegates'
Meeting.
A huge "thank-you" from Region 5 to all our
AFSCME brothers and sisters for their generous
donation in our time of need!
The Region 5 Flood Relief Committee had been
raising funds through direct donations and sales of
the bright green "CSEA Cares" tee shirts that
Donohue and McEntee are pictured wearing.
The members of our Flood Relief Committee sold those shirts at our recent Region
Fall Conference to help raise funds. The monies raised will soon be tallied and
divided up between all CSEA members who registered with us requesting
assistance.
Thanks to all who visited our website at www.cseacares.com and helped their
brothers and sisters in need!
