CSEA/SUNY Potsdam Labor/Management Small Group Meeting Results
2007—THE YEAR IN REVIEW
Here are just some of the things we were able to accomplish this year through
Labor/Management Meetings
  • Continuing the NYS/CSEA Partnership Certification Program
  • Provided supervisory skills training for janitors
  • Developed long and short term goals and objectives
  • Offered a four part workshop for Operations Supervisors
  • Provided custodial staff recommendations to Physical Plant
  • Replacement of work college ID cards
  • Custodial job duties sub-committee was formed to determine
    campus specific job
  • duties, work locations, overtime, and bidding.  This committee is
    now in the final steps of completion.
  • Working on many personnel issues
Our Primary Goals for 2008:
  • Establishing a Knowledge Transfer Information book for
    the clerical and
  • administrative positions.
  • Establishing on campus procedure for clerical transfers
    and posting procedures.
  • Establishing a sub-committee for a Maintenance
    Succession Plan.
