An Ergonomic Check-Up Offer

Our Health and Safety Officer, Mr. Calvin Smith, has agreed to
meet with any employee who is concerned  or would like
some help with the set up of your office.

Do you know how to correctly position your chair so that your
back does not hurt?

Do you know that shoulder pain may be directly related to
incorrect posture due to the way you are sitting, or the way
your chair is adjusted?

How about eye-strain?  Your monitor may not be placed
properly.

Do your feet touch the ground?  Did you know that if your toes
touch the ground while you are sitting , and your heels do not,
you can aggravate your sciatica?

Calvin will be glad to come to your office and do some
measuring to help you create a comfortable and safe work
space.

Give him a call at extension 2596, to schedule your
ergonomic check up, or if you have other health and safety
concerns.  Calvin will be glad to answer your questions.
There has been a few changes that have taken place here at

  • Supervision

A message from CSEA President, Danny Donohue:

"CSEA members have a wealth of talents and abilities.
But sometimes it takes more than that to do well on tests.
Test taking is a skill that you can develop through
practice.  That's why CSEA created this program -- to
help you get the practice you need to do well on tests.
CSEA is committed to developing services that will
broaden career opportunities for its members.  To access
the center, visit

and click on the Test Preparation link at the top of the
page.

I encourage you to spend some time with these courses
-- and good luck on your next examination."
