| An Ergonomic Check-Up Offer Our Health and Safety Officer, Mr. Calvin Smith, has agreed to meet with any employee who is concerned or would like some help with the set up of your office. Do you know how to correctly position your chair so that your back does not hurt? Do you know that shoulder pain may be directly related to incorrect posture due to the way you are sitting, or the way your chair is adjusted? How about eye-strain? Your monitor may not be placed properly. Do your feet touch the ground? Did you know that if your toes touch the ground while you are sitting , and your heels do not, you can aggravate your sciatica? Calvin will be glad to come to your office and do some measuring to help you create a comfortable and safe work space. Give him a call at extension 2596, to schedule your ergonomic check up, or if you have other health and safety concerns. Calvin will be glad to answer your questions. |
