SUNY POTSDAM IS NOW A CIVIL SERVICE
PILOT TEST SITE

How many of you have trudged to Watertown or Saranac
Lake, during the worst winter weather conditions,  to take
a promotional or entry exam?  Well, that is an issue that
we brought to Mary Dolan in Human Resources, and after
a year of diligent advocating with Civil Service, she has
been successful.  In January, SUNY Potsdam became a
pilot test site for some of the upcoming Civil Service
exams.  Now, this is only a pilot program.  It is up to
Albany to ultimately decide if we were justified in our
request to become a test site.  They will be watching to
see if this test site can garner enough people to make it a
viable venture for the future.  Stay tuned and we will keep
you informed.
There has been quite a few changes that have taken place here
